Position Available: Sales Development Representative

Role Breakdown

As an SDR at Trade Growth Systems, your mission is to play a vital role in supporting our Founder and the team to help home improvements business owners dial in their sales process, help them get 'off the tools' in 12 months or less and then scale their business up to £500,000-£1,000,000/yr, using online advertising, sales coaching and business consulting.

You'll be the foundation to our sales department, helping the team to get appointments booked on the calendar so we can bring on new clients and help a wider scope of business owners.

Your job is simple... managing our CRM and pipeline, filtering leads via message, calling them to qualify them and then setting sales appointments on our calendar for any qualified prospects to be closed and brought on as clients.

Collaboration in daily team meetings and effective communication are essential. Expect daily and weekly coaching from our experienced Founder, Christian Sloane.

Our Clients

Our clients are obviously the most important part of the business. It’s essential that our new SDR is able to quickly make a personal connection with our leads, as communication is the key element in the performance of their role.

Here is an insight into what our clients are like:

Speaking respectfully, due to the nature of the businesses we work with, and their low barriers to entry, many of our clients come from uneducated, self-made backgrounds, so you will often need to exercise patience in conversations, and to come up with simple ways to explain complex issues, so that the potential client gains full understanding and clarity about what message you want them to hear.

A strong grasp of the English language is important as there are many ways to say the same thing, with different words having slightly different effects on tone, confidence and true understanding, for example, resulting in just one or two ways out of sixteen that will actually give the correct understanding and ultimate desired outcome.

We also sometimes work with hotheaded, impulsive, or emotional characters/egos, so being able to handle, guide, and control this diverse range of often challenging situations & conversations is very important.

Wit, emotional intelligence and an ability to 'read between the lines' is essential.

Overall, they are highly ambitious people, who view the world slightly differently to most and strive for a better life, so the conversations can be wildly rewarding and inspiring.

It is your responsibility to identify individuals who will be a great fit for what we do and then help them make the right decision for their business, whether that's with us, or another avenue.

- Achieve & maintain £100K in monthly revenue

- Maintain above a 95% client retention rate

Earning & Compensation

Remote Appointment Setter

OTE 20,000-40,000 ZAR per month

Based on performance

Base + Commissions

Ability to earn pay rises based on performance as well as potential to move into a closing role if strong sales ability is demonstrated. We are looking to keep the team lean however closing roles (with larger compensations and higher earning potential) will be available in the next 12-18 months.

More advanced leadership roles for people will exceptional business acumen will also be available over time.

Daily Responsibilities

- Converting leads from online enquiries to text conversation

- Checking leads meet our requirements via message

- Converting leads to qualification calls

- Qualifying leads over the phone and book appts for leads to be closed by our Founder

- Pipeline and CRM management

- Sales training provided by experienced Founder

- Daily team meetings

- Quick communication via Zoom, Social Media, Slack and Phone
